Why do you require at least one visit per day?
This is for the health and safety of your cats! There are so many things that can happen when animals are unsupervised, especially clever and curious cats! Auto feeders and litter robots can malfunction. If they were to become sick, injured or trapped it could be many hours until help arrives.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, I am fully licensed and insured.
Do you have a back-up if you're unavailable/unable to care for my cat?
Lindsey is my back-up sitter. She's insured and has been filling in for me for many years now. She will perform all the same services as I do.
• Can you give my cat medication?
Usually, yes. I can administer oral and trans-dermal medications to reasonably cooperative cats. I will not drag cats out from under furniture, or force an aggressive cat to take meds. Doing this will only result in the cat learning to fear/hide from me. Please consider other accommodations if your cat is excessively resistant to being medicated, such as veterinary boarding. I do not give injections or subcutaneous fluids.
What can I expect from a consult?
Consults are free of charge. I will come meet you and your kitties sometime before your trip to learn more about the cats, their routines and where essential supplies are located in the home. I’ll also take your keys/door code or schedule another time for pickup.
How do I pay you?
I accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, as well as cash or check payments.
