I've been captivated by cats my entire life. Perhaps my favorite thing about them is that their trust must be earned, and their affection does not come easily without understanding their unique behaviors and personalities. As anyone loved by a cat knows, it feels special when they choose you! 

Cats are sensitive critters that love routine and familiarity. When things change they can often become stressed, even if they don't show it. I aim to be a source of comfort, security and fun while human guardians are away. Beyond feeding and essential chores, I believe playtime is a powerful tool to keep cats from building up anxiety and stress while their routines are disrupted. I always bring a variety of toys with me to visits so they can expend some of that energy. I like to take silly photos of cats playing, and its one of the unique things about my service that clients look forward to receiving in their updates. 

Outside of cats, my interests are hiking, backpacking, painting, drawing and baking.
